I can't believe Halloween is around the corner! That means it's almost Christmas decorating time!!! I took the girls to get their Halloween pictures taken at Kiddie Kandids, and it certainly didn't turn out so well. Thankfully Jocelyn and Gracie were there, and Jocelyn was able to sneak a few pictures when the photographer wasn't looking :)
Gracie and Makenzie always get their Halloween pictures done together!

Pumpkin Patch 2009
On Saturday we had our annual Pumpkin Patch outing with Grammy, Uncle Goozie, and Auntie Lindsay. It was 90 degrees so we didn't last too long before heading to lunch.
We did get to pull some pumpkins from the vine, and buy some fresh farm vegis from the stand. It was so much fun!

Makenzie's Pajama Jam Birthday party
Happy birthday to you Makenzie! I can't believe you are 8 years old! It feels like just yesterday when I brought you home from the hospital all wrapped up in your little outfit that your daddy took so long to pick out for you! You have grown up into such a remarkable young lady. I am so proud of all that you have accomplished already, and can't wait to see what is in store for you in the future! We love you to pieces!
We had Makenzie's pajama jam extravaganza at Pump It Up in Irvine. Between the girls at dance, and the 2nd grade girls at Panorama, there were 30 little ladies all decked out in their pajamas, ready for some fun! We decorated "sleepover kit" bags, had a pajama fashion show, and jumped on the four inflatables for two hours. I thought Makenzie would be exhausted at the end of the night, but instead opted to go to the "after party" with her cousins...We had a late dinner at Johnny Rockets and the kids danced to the music at the District in Tustin. It was such a great day!

Makenzie's First Day of 2nd Grade

I can't believe my big girl is starting 2nd grade! It seems like just yesterday I was dropping her off with Mrs. Kinslow in the 3-year-old room in preschool, and now she is off to 2nd grade. :( Where does the time go! We've seen big change over the past year with Makenzie. She has matured alot! She is an excellent reader, loves school, and even has an interest in boys! Oh no! She has been "coordinating" school outfits and accessories, and has a plan for hr hairstlyes every morning. She is so funny! Her teacher this year is Mrs. Silverman, who seems very much like a no-nonsense teacher. I hear she is a great teacher though, and that we can expect Makenzie to grow leaps and bounds this year!
Tuesday's at Disneyland!!

This summer we were so lucky to spend Tuesday's at the parks with Makenzie's good friend Jadyn and their dance teacher Ms. Anna. The girls were so excited to see Anna's daughter perform as a jellyfish in the Pixar parade, and cut in front of all the lines with Paula's awesome "front of the line" pass.Sunday, July 5, 2009
Wild Rivers for Gracie's 5th birthday

We celebrated Gracie's fifth birthday on a freezing summer day at Wild Rivers. It was SO MUCH FUN! Makenzie was so brave and went down some of the big slides all by herself. Delaney wasn't so sure at first, but loved the swing over the water after a few tries. Manny and Thad were awesome at the big wave pool, minus Manny losing his shorts of course!
